Most of the photos in these galleries are proofs. What this means is each photo will be cropped, adjusted for color and contrast plus have any distracting elements removed. All this is done before Phillip uploads the full resolution image for printing.
The amount of cropping varies on the product ordered. As an example a 5x7 versus a 8x10 photo. More of the image will be lost when cropped to a 8x10 versus a 5x7. Certain photos look the best if they are cropped at certain ratios or sizes such as 5x7, 8x12, or 12x18, this keeps much of the image area as possible.
